About "The Wall"
What's happening on the other side?
Α Youth Exchange that brings together 30 people from 5 different countries in order to to practice self- expression, communication, self-analysis.
Why?
Due to the global health crisis we were forced to face our own walls, which led us to a feeling of fear and anguish. What the project proposes is to tear down these walls and recreate new tools of expression and communication with others.
How?
Recreating new and creative communication schemes through techniques such as the theater of the oppressed, theTheater of Social Presence, outdoor activities and other non-formal methods.
In this way, we seek to generate dynamics and empowerments with other forms of expression.
Program and dates
The exchange will take place in two stages, virtually and in person.

1st online meeting
The first online session provided for participants by the organizers will be a starting point of a long journey together into “The wall” concept of the project. During the first session all participants will present -self and all the part of the project will be introduced to clarify all question before the departure for the collective virtual trip. During the session, interactive activities will be provided to get into the main methodology and to move foreword through the offline mission as next steps.
2nd online meeting
During this second collective online workshop we will get into "the Wall" concept so as to inspire and origin the whole project. The starting point will be generated by the content of the offline missions and guided by group leaders.We will now discover different perspectives of "The Wall" concept, in order to unfold different barriers, emotions and feelings. There will follow an active session in which all participants are invited to participate with at least one friend or relative. The activities provided for the offline part will be developed during the session as well. The mission will be realized in cooperation with other participants (online or offline), we encourage team participation.
3rd online meeting
In the 3th session, all participants will present what they discovered and developed during the previous month. A reflecting session will follow, as a second part, in which all participants will work on their feelings and attitudes regarding the “wall” concept. Will be useful if participants manage to be in a silent, quiet and comfortable spot.
4th online meeting
To create something is really important. Participants will be guided into the creation of a representation, using the main methodology and prepare the terrain for the last offline mission, to create their own theatre “call to the wall” that they will present in the last online meeting. Last mission, the participants are presenting their work done in the previous meetings till now. We will take time to work into the last agreements for the Youth Exchange and a midterm evaluation of the online part of the project.
